Sure, the new Galaxies are more than okay, but we've already seen similar devices with similar specifications before the launch. And we'll be taking a look at some real bezel-less smartphones.
Let's start with the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 was launched in Beijing on 25 October 2018. It was launched with a true bezel-less display.
- Display- The Mi Mix 3 comes with a 6.4-inch 2340 x 1080 Full HD+ OLED panel with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.4%.
- Processor- The Mi Mix 3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor and the Adreno 630 GPU.
- Camera- The Mi Mix 3 has 4 cameras, two at the front and two at the rear. The back of the phone sports a 12MP Sony IMX363 with f/1.8 aperture, 1.4-micron and a 12MP Samsung S5K3M3+ with f/2.4 aperture, 1-micron pixels camera. It also supports OIS and 960FPS slow-motion videos with AI. There is a 24MP Sony IMX576 sensor with 1.8-micron pixels and a 2MP depth sensor with AI features on the front slider area of the device.
- RAM and Storage- The Mi Mix 3 has 4 variants: 6GB RAM/128GB, 8GB RAM/128GB, 8GB RAM/256 GB and 10GB RAM/256GB.
- Battery- The Mi Mix 3 has a 3200 mAh battery with 10W wireless charging.
- Software- The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 runs on MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie.
- The pricing of the phone has been made available anyways. The 6GB RAM / 128GB storage will be priced at $475 while the 8GB RAM / 256GB storage costs $575 and then the premium high-end mode, 10GB RAM with 256GB storage goes for $720.
Looking at it, one would say that is a very solid device, and it is.

Let's look at its quick specifications.
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and operates on Android 8.1 (Oreo) which is Color OS customized. The pop up contains both the 25 MP front camera and dual 16 + 20 MP rear cameras. It also has a 3,730 mAh battery and is powered by VOOC fast wired charging. The Lamborghini edition of the phone comes with 512 GB storage and supports SuperVOOC fast wired charging which can charge from 0 to 100% in 35 minutes. According to Oppo, Find X will be its first phone to have global LTE compatibility which is crucial for the company to enter the European and North American market, the phone supports no fingerprint scanner to unlock the device and instead relies on facial recognition known as O-Face, which is done by the pop up taking as little as 0.5 s to pop up and unlock the phone.
The selfie camera has 3D Smart Selfie Capture that can simulate various lighting effects for portrait lighting and it has a 3D OMoji feature while the dual rear camera can recognize 800 scenes in 20 scenarios (Food, Pets, Snow, etc.). The Oppo Find X costs about €999, that is about $1,155.
Next, we look at the Vivo Nex S.

Let's take a quick look at its specifications.
The phone comes with a 6.59-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2316 pixels at a PPI of 388 pixels per inch. Which also houses the in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo Nex S is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo Nex S packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Vivo Nex S runs Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 4000mAh non-removable battery. It measures 162.00 x 77.00 x 7.98 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 199.00 grams.
The Vivo Nex S is a Dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, and Gyroscope. The first one carries a price tag of $599. The NEX S in the configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage costs $690, while the most expensive one with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB ROM costs $769.
Now, let's take a look at one of the newly released galaxies- the S10+.

Some say this is the smartphone of the future. DxOMark says the S10 is as good as the Huawei Mate 20 Pro camera wise.

- 2160p/60fps (1080p/30fps at default settings). The S10+ is priced at £899, £1,099 and £1,399 for its 128GB, 512GB and 1TB variants. Preorders start 7th March.
Although the S10+ is a great device, there's no crime in looking at other devices out there.
